We will have our final games at Worden Park Saturday November 14th. We will have 5th grade playing the Wichita Gators at 10am and 6th grade playing the Wichita Gators at Noon.

Games at Worden Park - November 7th
We will have our games at Worden Park Saturday October 24th. Please make sure No Pets to the game and everyone must bring mask. If you are with your family you may remove as long as no one is around. Please wear mask while going to concession stand and when you leave the park. Feel free to bring lawn chairs.

Field 1
1/2nd grade will play at 9am
3/4th grade will play at 10:30am
5th grade will play at Noon
6th grade will play at 1:30pm
Saturday October 17th games are away.
1st/2nd grade will play in Derby against Derby1 at 9am.
3/4 grade combo, 5th grade and 6th grade will play in Mulvane.

Cheer pictures will be at Worden Park on October 5th
Pictures will start at 5:30pm so please arrive 10 minutes early. If you want to take a sibling picture please do it at this time.
3rd game of the season will be Away on October 3rd
1st/2nd grade will play in Winfield at the Winfield Sports Complex at 9am.
Temp checks will be given to players and coaches prior to warm ups. Mask are to be worn until you are seated with you party and must bring lawn chairs. There will be a full concession available during the game.
3rd/4th grade, 5th grade & 6th grade will be playing in El Dorado
The game will be played at the BG Products Veterans Stadium
Mask are to be worn until you are seated with your party and a full concession stand will be available. Temp checks will be given to both players and coaches prior to warm ups.

We will take football pictures at Worden Park please come at your schedule time and arrive at least 10 minutes before scheduled time.

Practice the week of September 26th
We will have football and cheer practice this week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Rock Island from 6-7:30pm. Our 2nd game will be at home on September 26th. We will have a volunteer list available at the concession stand on Monday.

We will have Football equipment check out on Saturday August 29th at Rock Island. Due to space we will need you to come at the time you are given.

Youth Football & Cheer Update on season 8-7-20
Summer Speed & Agility Training June 2nd thru August 1st
We will be offering a Summer Speed and Agility Conditioning for Grades 3rd thru 6th starting on June 2nd and will run through August 1st. The sessions are as followed:
Session 1: Tuesday/Thursday from 4:30-6pm
Session 2: Tuesday/Thursday from 6-7:30pm
Please arrive 30 minutes before your first session to register
This will be for 8 weeks and we will take a break from June 29th thru July 5th.
Pricing is as followed:
1 Session which is Tuesday/Thursday is $10
1 Private lesson (one on one) will be $15
Discount price for all 8 Sessions will be $70 if paid in full or 2 payments of $35
This will take place at Worden Park

Final Registration for Youth Football & Cheerleading May 28th
We will have our final open registration Thursday May 28th at Rock Island from 5:30-7pm. If you are a returning player or cheerleader please bring your game jersey or cheer uniform at registration so they can be checked for fitting. If you have any questions please contact a board member.

Next Football & Cheerleading Registration March 7th
We will have our next Football & Cheerleading Registration on March 7th from 10am-2pm at Rock Island.
If you played or cheered last year please bring your game jersey or cheer uniform with you so we can check to make sure it will fit for the 2020 season.
The following price for Football and cheer are as followed:
Football grades 1st thru 4th grade: $165 if no jersey is needed it will be $125
5th/6th grade: $185 if no jersey is needed it will be $145
Cheer price will be $85 and no cheer uniform $50
Please note the final registration day will be May 31st.

Early Bird Football & Cheerleading Registration - February 8th
We will be having our Early Bird Football & Cheerleading Registration on Saturday February 8th at Rock Island form 10am-2pm.
If you played or cheered last year please bring your game jersey or cheer uniform with you at registration so we can look and make sure it will fit for next season. If you don't present these at registration you will be subject to the higher price.
Early bird pricing is only for this day if paid in full
**Cheer - $70 if no uniform is needed price is $45
**Football grades 1-4 is $150 if no jersey needed $110
**Football grades 5-6 is $165 if no jersey needed $135

Awards Ceremony - November 19th
Awards Ceremony will be November 19th at the Memorial Auditorium starting at 6:30pm.

Equipment Check in November 5th & 7th
We will have equipment check in on November 5th at Rock Island from 6-7pm. This is for all football players. Please bring your stuff washed prior to return. Coaches please be present to help with your grade check in. Note: if you have a stock game jersey you need to turn it in.
Iron Dukes Bowl is November 2nd & 3rd at Worden Park
We will have our 6th Annual Iron Duke Bowl this weekend at Worden Park. The tournament is for Grades 1/2nd grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade & 6th grade. Your 4th grade will be playing in a Bowl in Circle this year.
Games will start at 8am on Saturday and Sunday and there will be a one time gate fee of $10 per car. Please come out and support your Dukes and Knights for the Post Season Bowl.

October 3rd is the Homecoming Parade
We will meet at the City Building at 5:30pm for both Football and Cheerleading. Football players wear Jersey and Jeans or nice shorts and cheerleaders wear your uniform. Parade will start at 6pm. Parents please pick your child up at the Memorial Building when parade is over.

We will have football practice Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30pm. Cheerleaders will practice on Tuesday and will take pictures at Worden Park on Thursday at 6pm.

Youth Night will be Friday September 6th at Seller's Park. Please arrive at the tennis courts at 9th street by 6:30pm. Football players wear game jersey's and nice shorts or jeans. Cheerleaders we are still working on something because we are still waiting on uniforms.
Our fist game is Saturday September 7th please see the calendar for location and your times to play. Please arrive 1hr prior to your scheduled time to play and if you have any questions please contact your coach or board member.

We will have our first practice on Thursday August 1st at Worden Park starting at 6:30pm-8pm. Please bring your physicals if you have not had your physical you are still required to come. Please talk with your coach.
Coaches are required to be certified in order to help with practice.
Skill Assessment for Grades 1st thru 6th on July 27th
We will be having our Skill Assessment testing on July 27th at Worden Park starting at 9am. Please arrive by 8:45am so we can stretch before we get started. This is for all grades or teams so your coaches can evaluate before the season. If you have any questions please contact a board member.

Football Camp for Grades K thru 3rd and first year players on July 22nd & July 23
We will be having camp for first year players and grades k thru 3rd on July 22nd and July 23rd at Worden Park from 6pm-7:30pm. The Jr. Crusader Football camp provides instruction for both offense and defense. This camp is for all athletes who are curious and want a better understanding of football. There will be two more registration dates which will be May 19th from 1pm-3pm and May 28th from 6pm-8pm at Rock Island. Please bring last year game jersey or cheer uniform to registration. If you are unable to attend one of these dates please contact a board member to help you get registered. If you have any questions or concerns about payment please contact a board member as well. Football and Cheerleading Registration April 10 & 17, 2019
We will have & Cheerleading registration on April 10th & 17th at Rock Island from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Please bring both football player and cheerleader to registration so we can fit them for uniform. Cost structure will be as followed:
Cheer - $80 if they don't have uniform and $50 if they have uniform and it is in good condition and fits. Must bring uniform when you register.
Football Players - Grades 1st thru 5th will be $165 if jersey fits and in good condition cost will be $125. Must bring jersey when you register so we can check it.
6th grade cost will be $185 - If no jersey is needed the cost will be $145. Must bring jersey when you register so we can make sure it fits and its condition. Registration deadline for 6th grade will be May 31st.

The 2018 season is expected to be another exciting year for Youth Football in Wellington.
Our mission as coaches, administrators of youth football is to provide the an opportunity to play organized games for the purposes of learning basic skills for football and cheerleading, as well as developing skills of team work, dedication and self-discipline with the added bonus of striving to attain a high level of physical fitness.
Our organization is run exclusively on volunteers. With this in mind, we must realize that sometimes our organization may not meet the needs of every athlete all the time. We want our governing structure to continue to evolve as needs and conditions change. Therefore it is important that we as coaches, administrators keep our collective ears to the ground to listen, evaluate and change as needed to keep the focus and direction of the program.
Your constructive criticism is welcome by contacting us either by phone, e-mail or in person. I assure you that your imput will be weighed and evaluated.
We wish the all the teams the best of luck during the season. To the athletes play hard, play safe most of all have fun.
